This was a four-generation trip to relax and enjoy delicious seafood. Sonnore was just like the photos—if not even better. The kids were thrilled with the first-floor Facility and the dome tent on the rooftop, while the adults enjoyed a relaxing time on the second floor. Although the weather was great, we were disappointed we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but we all agreed that we definitely want to come again! The road up to Sonnore is quite steep, so it would have been helpful to know that in advance.

This was our first stay, and it was a wonderful Accommodation. The hospitality, food, and cleanliness were especially excellent. We were surprised by the look-alike sisters (lol). Thank you for recommending a great place for lunch as well. Next time, we’d love to stay in a Room with an open-air bath.

We stayed as a family of five for a birthday trip. The narrow path from the parking lot to Lapita Resort is a bit challenging, but the moment we opened the door and saw the breathtaking ocean view, we were amazed. Not only that, but there was also a spacious wooden deck with a pool about 60cm deep, which made our kids absolutely thrilled! At night, the area was beautifully lit up; however, this attracted an unusual number of beetles diving into the pool, making it quite an effort to remove them. The sauna was equipped with sauna suits and hats for everyone in our group, allowing us to enjoy it comfortably. There is also access to the coastline through another door; however, please be cautious as there are many sea insects in that area. Overall, every angle offered photo-worthy views and we had such a wonderful time. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much!

Everything was perfect, beyond expectations. I was truly moved by the exceptional hospitality—it might be the first time I've experienced such flawless service. The appliances and items provided were clean and beautifully arranged, and the traditional crafts were deeply captivating. The open-air bath and stone sauna created a truly relaxing atmosphere. I also found it to be very cost-effective.

We stayed for one night with the Plan that includes a BBQ dinner. As described, there was an excellent selection of dog amenities. We brought shampoo supplies from home just in case we needed to use the dog shower, but everything was so well provided that we didn’t need them at all. Tateyama in March was colder than we expected, and we realized we hadn’t prepared well enough. Our dog isn’t very comfortable going out, but before our baby is born, we wanted to make some memories with our beloved dog—this is the place we chose after searching carefully. Walking along the coast during our morning walk is also a moment we’ll always remember.\nThank you very much.

Although we stayed with No Meals Included this time, we had a highly satisfying experience—not only at the Accommodation but also exploring the surrounding area. The staff recommended nearby places to eat, and we were able to visit a wonderful restaurant serving delicious dishes made with local ingredients. We also really appreciated being given a ride there at just the right time. Near the Accommodation is the Kitamaebune Museum, and the whole area has an atmosphere where you can feel its history and culture—simply strolling around was enjoyable. It’s an appealing area for sightseeing as well. The location is also great; if you go a little farther, you can reach Yoshizaki Gobō Ruins in under 20 minutes, making it convenient as a base for sightseeing. Inside, everything is new, clean, and comfortable, and each bath has its own character so you can truly relax. Because it was No Meals Included and we could move around freely, it was a stay where we could enjoy the charm of the region as well. We would love to stay again.

Soaking in the jacuzzi under a sky full of stars with the lights off and enjoying a morning coffee while gazing at the sea was absolutely wonderful. The sauna gave off a cozy campfire vibe, which was also enjoyable. The terrace had a net, so even our beloved dog could relax safely. For pets, dishes, wet wipes for paws, and two pet sheets were provided. Additionally, insect repellent spray, bug spray, an extra outdoor lantern (bright enough that we didn’t need to use it), sandals for each person, seasoning salt and pepper mix, chili powder, and mineral water were all prepared in the Room—no need to bring anything! There was also an ice maker and drinks available for purchase. A sturdy gas grill was available free of charge along with two types of tongs. Having a lidded trash bin nearby was surprisingly convenient. At night, you can see inside through the glass at the entrance; adding hooks to hang towels or curtains would make it feel more secure during bedtime. I admired how they picked up trash from the beach—it left an impression on me! The sea was clear and beautiful; I felt completely relaxed from check-in to check-out.

After my first stay in April, I became completely captivated by Kito Nasu and decided I absolutely had to visit again within the year. This was my long-awaited second stay! Last time, I stayed for one night, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place, so this time I stayed for two nights! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a delightful blend of wood and incense scents that make you want to take a deep breath. The sauna was as amazing as ever!! The layout is well thought out, and the fresh air makes outdoor cooling sessions incredibly refreshing. If you're experienced with lighting wood saunas, it’s easy to get started; even if it’s your first time, there’s a clear manual provided so anyone can do it quickly! The bathroom amenities are thoughtfully stocked with MUJI products. There’s not only a hairdryer but also a hair iron available. While there is just one mirror in the space, it's spacious enough for two people to use comfortably. I absolutely love the Aqua Feel bath that amazed me during my last visit—it makes you want to soak endlessly! (This time I used it five times!) The washing machine and gas dryer are super convenient; they even provide high-quality fabric softener that leaves your laundry warm, fluffy, and wonderfully fragrant after every wash. The restroom plays soothing music when seated and has its own handwashing area—very convenient—and yes, even the restroom smells great! The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including a large refrigerator and plenty of stylish tableware. Everything here exceeds expectations—it feels like every “wouldn’t it be nice if they had this” has already been anticipated at Kito Nasu. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s another private accommodation as charming as this one anywhere else. I’ve already started planning my next trip while searching through social media for similar private accommodations like Kito Nasu—but nothing compares so far! So now I'm thinking about visiting again early next year—this time for three nights! It truly feels like a second home where each visit makes you want to stay longer—a very relaxing accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We enjoyed everything in line with the concept: nature, architecture, interior design, and the slow passage of time.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

Stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in Room 102. Usually, the only interaction with the owner is during checkout, but I deliberately visited the office right after check-in to say hello. I got information about dinner and sightseeing for the next day. It seems there are no restaurants open after 6 PM within walking distance, and even in the main area, places can be fully booked, so if you don't want to cook dinner while staying here, it's better to make a reservation at a restaurant in advance. The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, but since there is only one coffee capsule per person per day, those who drink several cups should bring their own. There is also an Aeroccino, so it's convenient to buy milk at a nearby convenience store. The mini hot plate, washing machine, and gas clothes dryer were very useful. Breakfast is delivered in a paper bag from a partnered delivery store. Unfortunately, the delivery time could not be specified. On the first day, it was a hamburger and corn soup, and on the second day, an Okinawan seaweed roll with luncheon meat and omelet. It was delicious.

I stayed as a solo guest. The room was truly right in front of the ocean, and whether I was in the living room, bedroom, or bath, the view of the blue sea was incredibly refreshing. Since cooking utensils were provided, I made a reservation with No Meals Included but enjoyed dinner at Amanoyu, a restaurant within the group facility. I also found it very appealing that I could access both the sake bar and onsen at Yokaikan, another group facility! I initially planned to relax and work in the villa but was pleasantly surprised to have access to such a spacious public bath! Working surrounded by the sea in such a spacious room was very fulfilling; next time, I'd love to try having a BBQ with friends. Thank you so much!

I had planned to visit Aka Island on a day trip, but I wanted to take it slow, so I stayed at this Accommodation. The weather wasn’t great, but the owner was kind, and it turned into a very satisfying stay. The Room was comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the views were amazing. While enjoying complimentary wine and beer and looking out toward the shore, I saw a Kerama deer strolling along at an unhurried pace—it felt like paradise. I definitely want to come back.

The location is fantastic, and I've been using it every year recently. The sunset view from the restaurant and the delicious French cuisine by the chef are something you can't easily experience at other luxury hotels. This year, I was able to relax and refresh while leisurely gazing at the sea I love.

We stayed as a group of 2 adults and 3 children. The room was very clean, and all the amenities were well-prepared without any inconvenience. The view from the room was great, allowing us to enjoy a resort-like atmosphere. At night, we could also see beautiful stars. Thank you very much! If I had to mention one thing, accessing the bunk bed room on the first floor was only possible via an outdoor staircase, which can be a bit cold in winter.

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

We stayed here during Golden Week. There were swings and a pool for the kids, plus plenty of tabletop games. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we had a wonderful, comfortable stay. The meals were even better than expected. The sea bream rice was easy—just cook it—and the shabu-shabu required no cutting; once we warmed the broth, we could start right away, which made everything so convenient. This is a villa we’d love to stay at again. The next morning the weather cleared up, and the view from the second-floor window was amazing.

We also enjoyed complimentary ice cream after our bath. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious—I ended up eating too much (haha). The warm hospitality and thoughtful service from the friendly proprietress were wonderful. Thank you very much! We look forward to visiting again
