Despite the rain, we were able to enjoy the barbecue without any issues. Thanks to the rain, it was a bit cooler, allowing us to relax and have a great time. The barbecue had an abundance of seafood, meat, vegetables, and even rice balls—so much that we couldn't finish it all! We made wonderful summer memories. Thank you very much!

The original building is impressive, so even though it’s older, it still feels deluxe. Everything was very clean. We chose the most affordable plan with breakfast and dinner, and were more than satisfied. The meals were excellent, with a wide variety of dishes including Shiraoi beef yakiniku. The room features a natural flowing Onsen, which you can enjoy multiple times. The Onsen has a slightly silky texture, leaving your skin smooth and soft. The room was clean with a new air conditioner, ensuring a comfortable stay. The meals were perfectly balanced in taste and portion size, and using the 5,000 yen Yahoo coupon made it an excellent experience!

It’s easy to get to the beach. I was able to relax very well. I enjoyed watching the aquarium in the entrance. It was nice to be a little away from the bustle of American Village. It’s convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Chatan Gateway. The Onsen is also close by, and soaking twice a day, morning and evening, helped relieve my fatigue. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

We stayed here with a large group in January. First of all, the traditional kura-style building is truly one of a kind. It has been beautifully renovated to suit modern needs while preserving the charm of classic Japanese architecture. It’s even more impressive in person than in photos, and you can really enjoy the building itself—perfect for anyone who loves architecture. The living room feels incredibly open, and even with a big group it never felt cramped. The kitchen was surprisingly spacious, and it was stocked with more than enough cookware and appliances. There was also a great variety of tableware, all stylish, which made cooking even more enjoyable. The dishwasher in particular was large and high-performance, making cleanup easy even for a big group. There are multiple bedrooms as well, so everyone can rest comfortably. This Accommodation is ideal for the purpose of “staying together as a large group and relaxing.” Overall it’s very spacious, so we could spend time there without feeling self-conscious. We only ordered breakfast, but it was simple Japanese food and very delicious. For lunch and dinner we arranged our own meals—buying ingredients at nearby supermarkets (Tsuruya and AEON are conveniently close) and cooking ourselves—and that became part of the fun of the stay. With such well-equipped facilities, this place is especially recommended for those who enjoy cooking. Even though it was cold around New Year’s, the inside was warm and comfortable. The separate hinoki bathhouse was amazing; you heat the indoor bath yourself, but the scent of hinoki wood and the atmosphere were truly relaxing. There is also another bath in the main house (with a modern tub), which you can use as well—and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of underfloor heating in the changing area there. We were highly satisfied with everything—the space, facilities, and overall atmosphere—and would love to visit again in a different season.

Our family stayed in Shimizu for two nights. Needless to say, the Accommodation building itself was wonderful, but the atmosphere of the entire surrounding village was just as charming. Even before our stay, we started with a hands-on sweets-making experience using agar, and after check-out we wrapped up with a tour of Irisen’s agar factory. Our children loved agar so much that even after returning home from our trip, they’ve been enjoying making desserts every week with the dried agar we bought there. The local regional cuisine we ordered through catering was also delicious, and it was a real treat to enjoy dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen from early morning. It’s a place we’d love to visit again in another season.

We stayed here as a family in February to watch the professional baseball spring training camps. Being in central Okinawa, it offers easy access both north and south, and for a trip with children we found the area around this Hotel very convenient—great for walking while enjoying ocean views and for getting around by car. The Hotel’s shampoo and other amenities have a spa-like aromatic scent, which my wife really loves. This time we visited Hamaya Soba, just a short walk from the Hotel, for the first time, and our kids were amazed by how good Okinawa soba was. This has become our go-to place to stay as a family. We’ll be back again.

The second floor is a loft space, and the kids were thrilled, saying, “It’s like a secret hideout!” They happily played there throughout our stay. The food was truly delicious, but what impressed me most was how we could spend time afterward. Even if the kids finished eating early, they could play in the loft right above us, so the adults could keep a relaxed eye on them while enjoying a slow evening with drinks in hand. Being able to unwind and enjoy an evening drink this calmly on a trip with children felt like pure luxury. We used the private open-air bath as a family. Every day, soaking together before dinner to refresh and then enjoying a wonderful meal became our happiest routine. We weren’t very familiar with the area, but the staff kindly recommended shops and Facilities in detail, so we were able to make the most of our day from morning to night. This is an Accommodation I truly recommend—an elegant space where you can have both children’s smiles and genuine relaxation for adults!

However one concern arose: foreign staff members (likely due to labor shortages) repeatedly asked about rice/miso soup service within an hour into all-you-can-drink time despite good intentions perhaps miscommunicated; additionally simultaneous ignition between ceramic grill & sukiyaki caused rushed dining leading towards cooled dishes felt disappointing amidst otherwise flawless classic Hotel excellence!
