Every year, I stay here during a quieter season and also look forward to enjoying the drive, and this year I was able to relax again. There is no TV, so it’s a great Hotel for getting through a book or taking time to think.

We had shabu-shabu, and the special ponzu sauce was so delicious that we used it on everything. Although we were initially worried about not encountering staff until arrival, the efficient system worked perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy quality family time. We would love

Dinner felt fairly average. Breakfast seemed to have a limited selection. The Room was a spacious triple Western-style room. The large public bath was also spacious. Overall, I was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay.

A paradise on the mountain! Enjoy breathtaking views of Dainichi Plain/Dainichi Mountain Range from the dining area, large public bath, and lobby. Marvel at the Toyama Plain, cityscape, Toyama Bay, and Noto Peninsula stretching below across the wetlands. This alpine resort stay is accessible via ropeway and bus without strenuous hiking. The water here is cold, pure, and delicious. This place holds cherished childhood memories of family stays. While the building has been reconstructed since then, it offers a unique atmosphere distinct from life below—cleaner and more comfortable than a typical mountain lodge. Relax with coffee while admiring the scenery from a sofa or join guided tours through wetlands. For those seeking adventure, equipped mountain hikes are available to explore further. Other highlights include panoramic views of Tateyama Caldera, stargazing under clear skies, morning frost glistening in dawn light over Toyama Plain’s twinkling nightscape or stars above. A slideshow detailing Alpine Route development history alongside this Hotel’s legacy enriches your understanding of its heritage—a truly remarkable experience worth revisiting. However one concern arose: foreign staff members (likely due to labor shortages) repeatedly asked about rice/miso soup service within an hour into all-you-can-drink time despite good intentions perhaps miscommunicated; additionally simultaneous ignition between ceramic grill & sukiyaki caused rushed dining leading towards cooled dishes felt disappointing amidst otherwise flawless classic Hotel excellence!

I was traveling solo and had made a Reservation for a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin Room. There were baths in each building, so I went around to three different locations and really enjoyed it. Even on my own, I never got bored and had a comfortable stay. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again.

The oceanfront room offered stunning views of the sea, which I admired every day. During sunset, I enjoyed walking to the pier and soaking in the pink hues of dusk. In the evenings, planes heading to Naha Airport could be seen flying close by through distant clouds. At 7 PM daily

We stayed as a group of four, including two preschool children. The cottage was very convenient with parking right in front! With the sea and a vast meadow stretching out before us, the view was stunning, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and moonlit nights. The BBQ buffet dinner delighted the kids, the pool was perfectly sized for them, and the private beach allowed us to fully enjoy Okinawa. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

An open location along a park facing the sea. The twin rooms offer an ocean view, while the single rooms have a land-side view overlooking a warehouse district, which is not bad. Considering the price, meals and room amenities are reasonable, and having a large public bath is wonderful. It's within walking distance to EAS (iias), so shopping and dining are convenient, making it very comfortable for a cozy stay.

I stayed for one night during Golden Week. It was great that you can choose a bath additive from the amenities, and that rental items include a hair iron and a selection of shampoos. There is also a convenience store nearby, and the downtown area is right around the hotel, so even with a Plan that includes breakfast only, there’s no problem. I enjoyed the breakfast as well! I think it’s easy to use even for women traveling alone. The free welcome drink also included local sake.

Reasonably priced, and the meals were truly delicious. The service was outstanding and made me feel, even as a Japanese person, that Japan is a wonderful place. When something unpleasant happens on a trip, it can affect your mood for the rest of the journey, but we genuinely had a great time. The open-air bath was very relaxing. The front desk was far from our Room, which might be difficult for elderly guests or families with small children. If the price were a little lower to reflect that, it would feel more reasonable. That’s all I can think of—overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset, but the next morning, on the way to breakfast, we were able to catch a glimpse of the sun rising from the sea through the window next to the elevator. This Hotel is in a lucky location where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset dependin

The view of Mount Fuji from the Room was amazing. The bath was also great, but it would have been even better if there was an open-air bath. The staff were kind, and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you very much!

I stayed here the night before a business trip. In winter, Rishiri Island seems to be in the off-season, and I hardly saw any tourists. It’s a little over 10 km from the airport by rental car. Following the navigation, I arrived without any trouble and checked in. The front desk staff were kind, and check-in was smooth. Since it’s a seaside Hotel, you can hear the wind on cold winter days. When I entered my Room (a twin), it felt spacious, with a large desk—very relaxing. It was freezing outside, but the heating worked well inside and felt like a different world. Before getting some work done, I drove to Seicomart while it was still light to pick up dinner. It’s said to be a 7–8 minute walk, but only 1–2 minutes by car. After finishing work and dinner, it was time for the Onsen. The large public bath on the first floor is accessible in yukata from your Room (you do pass through the lobby). Inside, there’s a beautiful golden-colored bath waiting for you. The source is around 33°C, so it’s heated—perfect for warming up! I spent my stay thinking that this price is probably only possible because it’s the off-season. Even if it is off-season, snow-covered Mount Rishiri Fuji looks majestic and is well worth seeing. With good weather, Mount Rishiri Fuji + Onsen + Rishiri kelp ramen makes for a very satisfying trip. It’s a wonderful place—please enjoy your stay.

Despite the rain, we were able to enjoy the barbecue without any issues. Thanks to the rain, it was a bit cooler, allowing us to relax and have a great time. The Plan included rock oysters, and each person received two! The rock oysters were incredibly delicious! The barbecue had an abundance of seafood, meat, vegetables, and even rice balls—so much that we couldn't finish it all! We made wonderful summer memories. Thank you very much!

I arrived at 2 PM with an early check-in. Despite the last-minute request, the staff kindly accommodated me. First, I went to the main building where I was welcomed with a drink. The view of the ocean right in front of me was breathtaking! While enjoying the stunning scenery of the sun and sea, I received an explanation about the facility. I used a private open-air Onsen with a Japanese-style design. It was more spacious than it looked in photos, allowing for a relaxing soak in the Onsen. The changing room was also large and clean, with towels provided so you can use it hands-free. After bathing, I enjoyed coffee from a De'Longhi coffee machine while spending some leisurely time. The room was clean and spacious, and as soon as I entered, there was a fresh scent of wood that gave off a sense of newness. For dinner, since I brought my own food ingredients, charcoal for grilling was delivered at 6 PM as requested. Using this charcoal grill along with rice cooked in an electric pressure cooker (which cooks rice in just 20 minutes) provided one of the best dining experiences I've had. Later on, I enjoyed some drinks at the main building before returning to my room to relax in another bath while listening to ocean waves—a perfect moment doing absolutely nothing! The only downsides were that one dish had leftover sauce from previous use and hadn’t been cleaned properly; also, when trying to use a lantern provided by them—it wasn’t charged enough and turned off after just two seconds even if tipped over slightly. Despite these minor issues overall cleanliness stood out positively! I'd love visiting again on sunny days ahead—thank you very much!

This time, I stayed here while traveling with my mother, who has difficulty walking. From the moment we entered the hotel, they seemed to notice her using a cane, and at check-in the front desk staff kindly offered advice and suggestions to make things easier for her. Thanks to their support, we were able to move around comfortably and had a very pleasant stay. They also checked in on us politely by asking if we were okay, and I’m glad we chose to stay at this hotel. My mother said she would like to stay here again, which shows how comfortable and relaxing it was for her. We booked a sea-view Room, so the scenery was beautiful and it was quiet at night. All of the staff greeted us warmly and handled everything courteously with wonderful smiles—I highly recommend this place. Breakfast can involve a wait when there are many guests staying, so I recommend going with extra time. We were lucky not to have to wait because our timing was good. My personal highlight of the meal was the wide variety of desserts—we enjoyed them together like we were at a café! I also recommend the breakfast!

It was a wonderful Hotel. The Room was very clean, and the buffet was delicious. I especially loved the open-air bath with a sky view... I would like to stay again if I have the chance.
