Nishio Station × Highly rated for rooms and amenities at Hotel·Ryokan

A new Hotel close to the station. The bed was Simmons and very comfortable. I was thirsty, so I enjoyed a welcome drink of coffee and Earl Grey tea using the electric kettle in the Room. The amenities were well-prepared, and above all, the Room felt clean and pleasant. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the shower water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was also satisfying; the grilled mackerel with salt was hot and delicious. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Okazaki!

This was our first stay. We truly enjoyed a relaxing, unhurried luxury of both mind and time. The underfloor heating in the Room felt wonderful, and we savored the delicious meals made with a strong commitment to locally sourced ingredients. As we are both left-handed, we were genuinely delighted to see that the spoon and fork for dessert had been thoughtfully placed on the left—thank you for your warm and considerate attention. (It’s a small detail that only left-handed people would notice...) In the morning, we woke to the song of Japanese bush warblers, and even while soaking in the open-air bath, we could keep listening to them. We had an incredible moment that felt as if time had stopped. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again. (Sorry for leaving some natto...)

Thank you so much for your kindness as always! I’m sorry I couldn’t thank you in person. You even remembered us, and although we arrived early again this time, you let us check in and offered us drinks—it was a huge help. We were also very happy to be able to relax and watch the Chintoro Festival fireworks from our Room again. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. We look forward to staying with you again.

We stayed here after our child’s wedding. Up until the day before, our child stayed for two nights (the night before and two nights before the ceremony), so we stayed a total of three nights as a family. The meals were delicious, and the late-night soba was excellent! Both parent and child became fans. I rated the Room one star lower because there was an odor in the Room that I couldn’t identify.

Although it’s a small town, this Hotel is right in front of Mikawa-Anjo Station on the Shinkansen line, with several Business Hotels nearby. The exterior looks like the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel”! Dinner won’t be a problem. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the izakaya introduced by the Hotel. It was classic, affordable, and had a spacious Room. On a sightseeing trip you may not spend much time in the Room, but it’s a great choice if you want to relax and recover in a slightly larger space. The large public bath was also great. It felt like all the necessary amenities were provided.

I made a reservation for our anniversary with my boyfriend. Although there was an error on my part during the reservation process, thank you for kindly accommodating our request even though it was originally online-only. On the day of our stay, the onsen facility was out of order, but we were able to use a large onsen at a sister accommodation, and shuttle service was provided to the nearby facility. The meals were delicious with great presentation, service, and portions. After warming up in the onsen, they added even more warmth to create wonderful memories. The ryokan's exterior has a retro feel, but the interior is clean with no odors or noise disturbances from outside. At checkout time, I noticed another family saying they would definitely return again. I also want to bring my mother here next time!

We stayed with two dogs and our 1-year-old child. We were worried because we had a lot of luggage, but since we had requested a dog stroller in advance, we were delighted to see one at the entrance with our dogs’ names on it. The dog-first hospitality was wonderful, and the Room was well stocked with amenities for our dogs. We could also dine together, and we were able to relax comfortably. Above all, the staff’s kind attentiveness helped soothe the fatigue from our long journey. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

I used the day-use Plan. This Hotel is directly connected to Kariya Station, allowing you to check in without getting wet from either JR or Meitetsu. It was convenient and well-equipped for remote work. Wired LAN is also available, and the internet connection is stable. There are restaurants, convenience stores, a bookstore, and a 100-yen shop within walking distance, making it easy to pick up anything you need. The Hotel was surprisingly quiet during the day, which made it ideal for getting work done. Thank you.

This was my second stay, and this time I stayed in a Superior Twin Room. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was excellent. The room also felt more than twice the size of a Double Room, making it very comfortable. Breakfast had an adequate variety and was delicious.

The facilities were very clean. Since I came mainly for the baths, it was great that towels were provided and a full set was prepared in a basket inside the locker so I could carry it with me. Each time I received a locker key, I could use a fresh new set, which meant everything was always clean. The separate men’s and women’s relaxation rooms were convenient, and being able to move between changing areas and the baths inside the facility made it feel like a private space for women, which I appreciated. I didn’t use the hot stone sauna this time, but there was a women-only option, so I’d like to try it next time. The bath water was excellent. I chose the dinner-included plan and the food was delicious. There were alcoholic drinks as well, so I could relax. Breakfast also had a nice variety of items. If you plan to use the baths multiple times, adding meals is very good value for money. I’d like to keep using this place in the future.

Once your work in Kariya is confirmed, make a Reservation immediately. Parking can also be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so you don't have to rush and can feel at ease. Upon exiting the elevator, there was a stylish wall painting of cars. Inside the Room, beautiful artwork was displayed as well. This elevated the experience to feel like more than just a Business Hotel, adding an elegant touch. The breakfast was also delicious. I would love to use this Hotel again!

The breakfast buffet was as plentiful as ever, and I really enjoyed a satisfying breakfast. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Despite our late-night arrival, the staff assisted us courteously. The Room was also clean and comfortable. However, we could hear karaoke music and singing from the adjacent entertainment venue until very late at night, which made it difficult to sleep. I hope soundproofing measures can be improved.

I was very satisfied. In particular, the large public bath in the morning was spacious and relaxing, and it helped relieve my fatigue. Thank you very much.

It was the perfect Room for an anniversary trip. The special Room was spacious, and the view was amazing. The food was also great. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed here as a family. The food selection was incredibly varied, delicious, and fun—especially the sashimi. For me, it’s the best value in the area. Writing this makes me want to go again. They also held a stamp rally event, which we enjoyed with our child. The building is older and the bath feels a bit small, but I don’t think it would bother you at all if you visit outside peak season. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

There is no parking on-site, but there is a coin-operated parking lot right next door where you can park overnight for 1,000 yen. The Hotel itself has no particular issues. The price is affordable, so I will continue to stay here in the future.

I always look forward to visiting this Ryokan because the meals are delicious every time. Thank you for accommodating even our detailed requests. I’m also looking forward to my next Reservation.

I was initially concerned that the container house might be cold in the middle of winter, but it was absolutely no problem. The shower had strong water pressure, making my stay very comfortable. The air conditioner and humidifying air purifier were of high quality, showing consideration for both comfort and the environment.
