The Onsen was wonderfully relaxing, and we were very satisfied. The piping-hot wild boar hot pot and grilled yamame skewers were absolutely delicious—also very satisfied with the food. Even though it was a three-day weekend, the cost per person was about 17,000 yen, which was very budget-friendly. The two friends who came with me were also delighted.

Stopped by during a tour to Chausuyama Kogen Road and Horaiji Mountain. Over 30 years ago, the current proprietress's father started this property by renovating their old family home. Nowadays, properties renovated from old houses are not uncommon, but the foresight to start it in that era is impressive. Urugi Village is a great place to spend a relaxing time in a rural setting. The proprietress's proud dishes of game meat and mushrooms, salt-grilled sweetfish, and horse sashimi were very satisfying. The gohei mochi served at the end was also quite filling. There was "Urugi Onsen Komadori no Yu" nearby, so we went there for a bath. Therefore, we did not use the bath at the property. It was a nice property, friendly to riders. We made a Reservation at this Accommodation to visit the moss phlox at Chausuyama Highlands, and we were extremely satisfied. The buffet was delicious, and as a couple who loves alcohol, we were happy to enjoy drinks at reasonable prices and had a wonderful time. It would have been nice if smaller draft beer glasses were available. During the buffet, a staff member kindly told us that we might be able to see a herd of wild deer, and we actually got to see them. As expected of Kyukamura—nature at its best. We truly enjoyed the great outdoors and had a fantastic trip. Thank you very much.

We were comforted by the handmade dishes and the owner's kind personality! The amenities were well-prepared, including yukata. Just a few minutes by car, there is an onsen called Komadori no Yu. A roadside station is also nearby. Although we visited Urugi Town to stargaze, unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to see the stars. We would love to stay at this accommodation again when we visit Urugi Town next time!

We stayed in the smallest type of log house called Akito. During our stay, we accidentally broke the gas stove, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. As for the property, it was a very clean log house with excellent housekeeping. The provided amenities were well-managed, and if you rent bedding, you can enjoy your stay and BBQ almost empty-handed. The ski resort is nearby, and guests receive free onsen bathing tickets, allowing free access to the onsen. The onsen has excellent water quality, a fantastic atmosphere, and even a pool. Highly recommended! Honestly, being able to enjoy a log house, BBQ, onsen, and skiing at this price is extremely cost-effective and highly recommended! Definitely!
