Every spring, we look forward to staying at Toba Grand Hotel. Since last year, our family has grown with a dog, so we stayed in the open-air bath guest room “Waon,” and this year again our whole family was able to relax and return home refreshed after a year of fatigue. We were a little disappointed by some changes and reductions in service—such as the welcome fruit no longer being offered and patissiere Seri’s dog cookies no longer being available—but overall it was a stay that soothed both body and mind thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff. Thank you very much. It’s a popular Hotel that becomes harder to secure a Reservation every year. We wanted to do a Multiple Night Stay in Waon this time as well, but unfortunately it wasn’t available. Even though we’ve only just returned home, our whole family is already determined to get a Multiple Night Stay Reservation for next year.

The meals were, of course, luxurious, but the Room was exceptional. It was spacious and very relaxing. Additionally, the information space on the first floor was like a treasure trove where I could gather plenty of useful information. I would love to visit again. Thank you

My mother’s family home is in Kurobe City, and for decades my family has teased me about how I nearly drowned here as a child. I visited again for the first time in over 50 years. The hot spring at Kofukaku was wonderful, but I especially liked the baths at Karuna-no-Yakata. The meals were good overall, but I’d like to see more local specialties at breakfast (especially kamaboko).

The front desk staff and the pool & bar staff were all friendly, kind, and pleasant. Thank you very much. The Room was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The pajamas were a separate (two-piece) type, and there was also a bathrobe. The bathrobe was convenient for going to the pool—you can change into your swimsuit in the Room and throw it on before heading out. There are many convenience stores and restaurants near the Hotel. Kokusai-dori is a bit of a walk away, but still within walking distance. We were able to relax and enjoy awamori and Orion beer in the lounge as well. It was February, but we could still use the night pool. The wind was cold so we couldn’t stay in for long, but it was a wonderful experience and we had a great time. The pool & bar staff spoke to us kindly and were very considerate, which made us happy—thank you again for everything. We would definitely like to stay again.

I found an available weekend slot at the end of last year and made a Reservation. After checking in, I relaxed for a while in the lounge with a flowing stream, enjoying a welcome drink. My Room was a Japanese-style room in the Kyushinkan wing, and it was comfortably spacious enough. The toilet was small, which reminded me of the building’s age—but that’s part of its charm. Dinner was a mini kaiseki set plus a half buffet, and everything was delicious. As it’s an Itoen Hotels property, alcoholic drinks were also all-you-can-drink—so I ended up happily tipsy. The bath was the large public Onsen on the first floor. The water had a smooth, silky feel that I really liked. It was also nice that the men’s and women’s baths switch between morning and evening. Breakfast was a buffet as well—simple and tasty. If my schedule allows, I’d love to visit Kamisuwa Onsen again. Thank you very much to all the Hotel staff.

We made wonderful memories. The beach is right in front of the property, and the location is excellent—we were very satisfied.

In spring, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom around the Accommodation and at the Kurushima Kaikyo Observatory, making it truly beautiful. From the Japanese-style Room, the large windows were wonderful—you could even enjoy an ocean view while lying on the futon—and the Room amenities and equipment showed thoughtful attention to detail. Needless to say, the food was outstanding! All of the staff were kind and very pleasant, too. Next time—whether for a celebration, an anniversary, or simply to refresh—I want to find any excuse to stay here again.

I stay in Shirahama about once every six months, but this was my first time at Shirahama Gyoen. I emailed in advance to let them know I have slight difficulty walking, and they showed me a Room close to the elevator. The restaurant was also on the same floor, which was very helpful. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. There was a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious, so I ended up eating too much (laugh). The staff were also very kind and helpful. I did have a few minor complaints: the coffee wasn’t very good, the rolled omelet at breakfast wasn’t tasty, there weren’t many amenities, and there was no basket for towels. However, considering the price, I think it can’t be helped. Both the Hotel and the Room were clean. I was worried about slipping on the stairs at the Onsen area, but I’m glad I was able to bathe three times. Next time, I’d like to bring my grandchildren. Thank you for taking care of us.

Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The seafood was excellent, and even the rice was so tasty that I would visit again just for the meals. The guest room was simple, but the mattress on the bed was firm in a good way, making it very comfortable to sleep on. A

I stayed for one night during Golden Week. It was great that you can choose a bath additive from the amenities, and that rental items include a hair iron and a selection of shampoos. There is also a convenience store nearby, and the downtown area is right around the hotel, so even with a Plan that includes breakfast only, there’s no problem. I enjoyed the breakfast as well! I think it’s easy to use even for women traveling alone. The free welcome drink also included local sake.

I stayed here with my family a few years ago and had a wonderful experience, so this time I returned for a two-person trip with my mother. The full-course crab meal was incredibly luxurious—far more than we could finish. My mother was truly moved, saying it was the first time she had ever eaten crab this delicious. The Room was very clean, and the Onsen bath was wonderfully relaxing—we were completely satisfied. Thanks to you, our trip together became a truly memorable one. Thank you very much. I would love to stay again with my family.

It was my first time staying in Hagi, and I was moved by the wonderful scenery that truly lives up to the name “Hagi Hakkei.” I asked to change dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. so I could watch the sunset from my Room, and I was able to take my time enjoying the sun slowly sink

We stayed here as a family in February to watch the professional baseball spring training camps. Being in central Okinawa, it offers easy access both north and south, and for a trip with children we found the area around this Hotel very convenient—great for walking while enjoying ocean views and for getting around by car. The Hotel’s shampoo and other amenities have a spa-like aromatic scent, which my wife really loves. This time we visited Hamaya Soba, just a short walk from the Hotel, for the first time, and our kids were amazed by how good Okinawa soba was. This has become our go-to place to stay as a family. We’ll be back again.

With an amazing location where you can feel the ocean up close, we had a truly wonderful stay in a Room that reflects the owner’s attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided—tableware, cooking utensils, seasonings, coffee beans and brewing equipment, even a SodaStream and a water purifier—so our stay was very comfortable. The selection of dishes was also beautiful and made our meals look even better. Above all, we were soothed by the warm personalities and kindness of the owner couple. We have stayed in many places before, but this became the most special one of all. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

I’d been curious about this place for a while, and this was my first stay. The atmosphere felt like a condominium in Hawaii or Australia. There’s no kitchen, but the space and layout have that kind of feel. It has underfloor heating, so it seems like it will be warm in the coming season as well. The meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. Also, I logged into YouTube to watch something and forgot to log out. When I called, they kindly said they would log out for me—thank you so much. Thank you as well for all your help regarding the bath. I’d love to visit again!

We stayed for one night this time. The Room was clean and well maintained, and the Facility was fully equipped with everything we needed—truly excellent. Our children loved it too, and we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful time. Highlights 1) A beautiful terrace where you can also enjoy BBQ. 2) The BBQ equipment is neatly stored and easy to use. 3) Plenty to enjoy indoors as well, such as a large TV and a hammock. 4) Very well-equipped kitchen facilities. 5) Even a SodaStream!! 6) A handwritten message and snacks for the kids—such thoughtful hospitality!! 7) Both the Room and the building are very clean. I can’t list everything (lol). Points that could be improved (if I had to mention any) 1) Some outdoor lights were out (broken), and an LED light was also broken, so we had to use our phone light at the BBQ grill area (lol). 2) For the SodaStream, mineral water would have been better (the tap water smelled slightly). 3) There is a water purifier on the faucet, but when using it, hardly any water comes out... 4) It might be nice to have more towels. Even with these points, it’s still a perfect Facility. And although our communication with the manager was only by email and phone, they were very kind, considerate, and helpful! Thank you very much!

Being able to enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks during dinner was amazing! I was especially happy to have a Nagisa Beer server. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also appreciated the free massage chair. There are many stairs to the large public bath, and even more to the panoramic open-air bath. It might be tough for elderly guests. However, the view and the hot spring water are wonderful, so I definitely recommend going.
