■From Kobe/Osaka: Take the Chugoku Expressway to Yashiro JCT ⇒ Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway “Kasuga IC” → Kita-Kinki Toyooka Expressway to the terminus at “Toyooka Izushi IC.”
After that, take Prefectural Route 727, National Routes 426 and 312 via Toyooka, then National Route 178 to Kumihama.
Approx. 40 minutes from Toyooka Izushi IC.
■From Kyoto: Via the Kyoto Jukan Expressway ⇒ Sanin Kinki Expressway to the terminus at “Kyotango Omiya IC.”
After that, take National Route 312 via Mineyama, then National Route 178 to Kumihama.
Approx. 2 hours 30 minutes from central Kyoto.
