A property featuring indigo dyeing and kaiseki cuisine, a tranquil retreat for adults nestled in the Yokoya Gorge of Tateshina, Shinshu.
As we did last year, we stayed again this year. The meals were especially outstanding—plenty of mountain vegetable dishes with rich, flavorful broth, and even my elderly mother was able to finish everything. We also received a commemorative photo. Thank you for everything. We would love to visit again next year.
春雅きりん 5/12/2026I visited last year and had such a wonderful time that I came back.The dishes featuring wild mountain vegetables and local ingredients, the Onsen at just the right temperature (I gave it 4 points only because there is no sauna), and the warm hospitality with thoughtful, understated service are what I love most.The only downside is that the food is so delicious I end up eating too much (laugh).Recommended for adults.

The Four Seasons of Tateshina
Tateshina Ai quietly stands in the Tateshina Highlands. Surrounded by Tateshina's natural forest, all guest rooms offer views of trees that change with the seasons, and in the tranquil space, you can hear the sounds of nature such as wind and birds.
- Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with tea and original sweets - 15:30～17:30: "Tokoroten" is served in the post-bath area - 20:00～21:00: "Evening of Sound and Light" is held in the lobby every night (one glass of red or white wine or grapefruit juice is served per guest) - "Soba Sushi" is prepared in the Room's refrigerator for a late-night snack - After breakfast, coffee, tea, and matcha are served
Exquisite kaiseki cuisine crafted with fresh Shinshu vegetables and seasonal ingredients.
The open-air bath surrounded by nature offers the sounds of chirping birds, wind, and rustling trees. The gentle spring water quality is enjoyable for both children and the elderly.
