You’ll head in through a surprisingly narrow passageway that makes you wonder, “Are we really going in here!?”—but the location is very convenient, just a short walk from Kanzanji, with an eel restaurant nearby, making the stay very comfortable. The Room was also very clean. However, compared to the Facility’s stated capacity, there were far too few dining chairs—only six. Since we stayed with seven people, it was quite inconvenient. The Goemon-style bath was interesting, but there wasn’t much firewood, and it still felt insufficient for seven people. That said, the Goemon-style bath, the movable hanging tent, and the view were all incredibly fun. We also enjoyed watching the tides come in and out. There is a bedroom on the second floor, but since there’s no sink or similar amenities up there, it wasn’t very convenient to use.

Due to a late arrival, I planned to walk or take a taxi from the station, but because of heavy snow that day, you kindly came to pick me up at the station. Even though it was last minute, I was able to enjoy the large public bath, which was very helpful. The next morning, my train was early and I wasn’t sure if I’d have time, but you drove me through the snow to Amanohashidate View Land. Thanks to the lift starting earlier than usual before opening hours, I could safely see snowy Amanohashidate! Although my stay was short, your kind hospitality made it an unforgettable experience. If I have another chance to visit Amanohashidate in the future, I would love to stay at this accommodation again. Thank you so much!

Our first glamping experience as a parent-child duo was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but it turned out to be absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was so well-prepared that even beginners like us had no trouble at all. The building's light blue resort-style design and the stylish room made us feel like we were in another world from the moment we stepped in! The amenities were impressive—complete with body lotion that you can take home! Even insect-repellent items like mosquito coils were provided, showing incredible attention to detail. The sunsets, sunrises, and starry skies were breathtaking! Soaking in the ocean-view bath while watching the campfire felt indescribably luxurious. BBQ grill and campfire usage times (9:00 PM/10:00 PM) were clearly set, allowing us to relax without worry. The staff had wonderful smiles and gave clear explanations that helped us quickly settle in despite being new to this experience. The welcome drink was delicious and instantly lifted our spirits upon arrival! We reserved a BBQ course, and they prepared an adult-sized portion for my child too—so filling! Each dish came with detailed instructions on how to prepare it, making cooking together fun for both of us. For breakfast, we got creative by adding homemade ice cream as toppings—it was such a treat! The coffee was excellent too; sipping it while gazing at the sea made for a perfect moment of relaxation. We also got lucky with access to "Yashi no Yu" nearby—a fantastic bonus! They provided makeup remover, toner, and moisturizer—such thoughtful touches for women guests. With gender-swapped baths between morning and night sessions available twice during our stay—it doubled the enjoyment factor! Although one towel set per person is included by default having extra towels would have been even better since we enjoyed multiple baths throughout our visit. Everything—the room quality food options Onsen services scenic views exceeded expectations leaving lasting impressions everywhere possible! While fridge space might seem slightly limited if planning ahead bringing external supplies note beer wine juice vending machines readily accessible onsite ensuring convenience remains intact overall. Fireworks games sold locally added nighttime entertainment value keeping boredom far away altogether! Returning home discussing plans already saying aloud “Let’s come back again soon!” proves how unforgettable summer memories created amidst swaying palm trees full-blown resort vibes truly became reality here today!!

The other day, I had my annual “crab day” at Genmyoan again. This time they prepared Taiza crab for me, and I was able to enjoy it. It was three hours of satisfaction—satisfied, satisfied, truly satisfied. They do not serve hot pot dishes like “crab suki” here, and I agree that turning such great crab into a hot pot would be a waste. That is exactly why I keep choosing Genmyoan. They said it snowed quite a bit this year, but on my visit there was only a little snow left along the roadside. Genmyoan sits halfway up the mountain, and I believe it may be the only place with this kind of view looking down over Amanohashidate. The location is outstanding. As shown in the photos, being able to enjoy scenery that changes with time from your Room is very appealing. On the other hand, when it snows heavily, driving up the mountain road can be difficult. When I asked the proprietress this time, she told me that during severe snow they will come to pick guests up at Amanohashidate Station with rubber boots in the car. Being able to change into them at the station would be reassuring. (They provide Shuttle Service to the Accommodation regardless of snow.) Also, once you are past 70—even if it’s a once-a-year indulgent crab day—you may worry about not being able to finish everything. It seems they can adjust portions if you request in advance. If they can reduce the amount without compromising quality, you can keep enjoying it at any age. Because this relates to IKYU’s website meal listings and pricing, I do wonder how flexible such arrangements can be—but I would appreciate continued consideration for guests’ convenience. Lastly, their breakfast is also delicious: even when you feel you ate too much crab dinner-wise, you still end up overeating at breakfast. The Onsen has been refurbished and is clean. There is a tasting corner for chilled sake (you can sample and choose before dinner), and there is now a coffee room as well. There is also a room lined with CDs/DVDs/books from the owner’s personal collection; you can bring them back to your Room and enjoy them there. It feels like an Accommodation where each guest can find their own way to relax and have fun.

Since my workplace on business trips is in Tokyo, I used to stay regularly at a Hotel in Roppongi. But with recent increases in Hotel rates, I was considering downgrading—then it occurred to me that Kamakura is just a little over 50 minutes from central Tokyo via the Shonan-Shinjuku Line. I searched and found this Accommodation in Kamakura. This value for money with the 3rd floor and rooftop! It’s spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and even the bathroom uses Grohe shower fixtures—just like at home. Great! Then I discovered there are lots of wonderful hidden-gem restaurants nearby (also amazing value), and I was completely satisfied. Unlike a Hotel, there’s no front desk staff, which actually feels refreshingly simple. You enter using a password that’s valid only during your stay. Perfect! Definitely coming back!! Just one thing: since there’s no front desk, you can’t send luggage ahead by courier service, so for short stays it’s a bit tough having to carry everything yourself. Well, maybe that’s asking too much... Even so, it’s 100/100. Oh—and the provided professional-grade body soap smelled incredible. I took a photo of the brand and product name so I’m going to buy it myself.

My husband and I drove there with our two dogs. The weather was lovely, and the mountain views from the Room were beautiful. The garden had a variety of plants and trees, and our dogs seemed especially happy—probably because it was more interesting than a wide open yard with nothing in it. They ran and jumped around like fish in water, and it took a while to get them back inside. The entrance has no steps, which made it easy to use, and the Room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable to sleep on. I’m sorry for the trouble we caused with things we forgot, but your response by phone was quick and very helpful. It was also great that Karuizawa and the Onsen were close by.

This was our second visit to this glamping site. Being able to enjoy glamping with no preparation and light luggage is a huge plus for those without camping experience, and the Facility felt clean overall, making it a place where both children and adults can stay with peace of mind. Each dome Room has its own concept; the color schemes were beautiful and the amenities were well equipped. Mini fridge, electric kettle, instant coffee/tea/green tea, air conditioning/heating, plug-in insect repellent, Bluetooth speaker, outlets with USB ports, blankets, hanging rack, an external toilet & shower Room (strong water pressure in the shower with adjustable temperature; toilet with bidet), BBQ space, and more. We chose the Plan that includes dinner and breakfast. Everything was extremely delicious—and there was plenty of food. At night (depending on the weather) there may be a campfire as well, which really added to the camping vibe. For future improvements, I’d love to see more activity options such as bamboo-copter or cup-making using bamboo; an athletic play area; seasonal events like fireworks or water-gun games; snowball fights or roasted sweet potatoes; or hands-on experiences like working in nearby rice fields or vegetable gardens. There is also a simple lookout platform in the bamboo grove (I don’t think it was there last year). If the weather and timing are right, you can apparently see the ocean, townscape, and sunset from there. Outdoor voices tend to carry slightly into the domes, so I felt we all need to be mindful at night. The free-drink area was relatively close by and convenient. The ocean is nearby as well—an ideal place if you simply want to relax. They also lend out badminton sets plus board games and card games for free. We’d love to come again.

The building is old due to its age, but the rooms are well-cleaned. The lounge offers complimentary soft drinks, two types of alcohol, and light snacks, which is a nice touch. The meals are delicious, the bath provides enjoyable views, and the staff are excellent.

The Echizen crab full-course meal was outstanding. A true crab feast that paired perfectly with warm sake, beautifully presented and delicious. The building exterior and Facilities are a bit old, and the toilet and washbasin were shared, but everything was kept very clean and we had no issues using them. On the day of our stay, it was extremely cold due to a cold wave and heavy snowfall, so we wanted to warm up in the bath, but the water felt a little lukewarm, and even with the heater on full power the Room took quite a while to warm up. The location is convenient—close to the station—and Tojinbo is about 2 km away, an easy walk if you enjoy a stroll. We hope the older parts will be renovated little by little over time. We would love to return in another season and try a different dining course at this Accommodation.

We arrived late at night but were warmly welcomed. The room was barrier-free, very spacious, and comfortable. We could enjoy the Onsen until 11 PM, which allowed us to relax and unwind. Thank you very much!

I stayed here during my year-end trip to Okinawa. It’s about a 5-minute walk from Miebashi Station, and there are many supermarkets like MaxValu and restaurants within walking distance, making it a very convenient location. (By the way, Sueyoshi Sashimi Shop diagonally across is great for takeout with good value for money.) The Room was very spacious and clean, equipped with an IH kitchen, washing machine, and gas dryer, allowing for a comfortable stay. Towels are provided at one set per person; however, adding an extra set allows you to manage daily laundry easily. The view isn’t much to expect unless you’re on a higher floor. There are many coin parking lots nearby; however, they tend to be almost full at night. If you’re using a rental car, please be cautious. During check-in, registered guests need to show their face in front of the tablet camera while stating their name as part of the verification process. You also need to quickly note down the PIN codes required for building entry and Room access (a system designed to prevent unauthorized use). Overall, I had a great experience and would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Even though we checked in late, they accommodated us by providing a key box. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay. The only minor issues were that the shower water pressure in the bathroom was weak, and the body wash towel among the amenities felt a bit flimsy, but there were no problems with our stay. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

I found this accommodation on Google Maps and stayed here. The room was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. The walls seemed a bit thin as I could hear some noise from the neighboring room. The staff were kind, and considering the price, it’s a good accommodation.

No Meals Included, but the service was very kind. Shuttle buses were available to various tourist spots, which showed how many guests they had.

From the hostess’s warm welcome to the stunning third-floor Room and terrace with exceptional views. The Room has windows on three sides. Open the door and you’re greeted by a view of Cape Shionomisaki. A terrace where you can enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Every dish was delicious—we ordered two servings each of the meat course and the fish course, and ended up overeating. I was a bit surprised that access to the Room was via an outdoor staircase I hadn’t expected, but once you come down the stairs, Cape Shionomisaki is right in front of you. If it had been raining, getting around might have been tough, but luckily the rain from the previous day had cleared, temperatures rose, and my mood soared too. The bath is not an Onsen, but while it shows its age, it was clean and felt well maintained. Another thing I loved was the “duvet cover.” It felt so nice that I want to find one for home—I wish I’d asked what brand it was. The Room itself was so comfortable, and it was great to just zone out while gently swaying in the hammock.

I’ve been coming every summer for the past couple of years, and this time I made a Reservation because I wanted to visit in winter too. I love that they offer the same menu as in summer, including vegetables and fresh raw vegetables. The sea is cold, but being able to have a campfire makes it amazing. I’ll definitely keep coming back. I gave 4 stars only because there were a few spots with some dust, which was a slight minus.

The ocean was right in front of us, and it was wonderful!! Since we don’t have a projector or a loft at home, it felt different from usual and the kids were thrilled. The bathtub itself isn’t very large, but it’s deep, so it was really relaxing. Breakfast was delicious too, and we’d love to come back in summer.

We had a very enjoyable time. The staff provided excellent service. It was our first experience with a private Onsen in the room, and it was amazing. Although it was far from Miyagi, we would love to plan another visit.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed for a multiple night stay on the last days of our Okinawa trip. The accommodation is situated on a slope overlooking Kouri Bridge, offering breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace. We went out to the terrace several times a day to enjoy the colors of the sea shimmering in the sunrise and sunset. Fortunately, we had clear skies throughout our 2-night, 3-day stay, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of Kouri Island. The building's white base must require significant upkeep, but it was impeccably maintained without a single stain in sight. The variety of drinks provided in the room and abundance of towels were also much appreciated. The pool was spacious and deep enough for comfortable swimming in both mornings and evenings, which helped alleviate any lack of exercise during our trip. While food delivery might be an option depending on providers, we opted to purchase groceries from nearby supermarkets this time and found it convenient enough. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating; they even allowed us an early check-in, which was very helpful. Whenever we stay on Kouri Island, we usually drive around searching for beautiful locations; however, this villa’s stunning view alone made our stay more than satisfying—it was both comfortable and enjoyable! We look forward to staying here again for another multiple night stay next time. Thank you very much!
